You’re invited to join Matthew Liam Gardner in this explorative 3-week embodiment journey called "The Darketypes,”.

Over 3 sessions you’ll undertake a somatic exploration of the wronged, shamed, rejected and taboo parts of your own being and enter a process of reclaiming the spiritual vitality and hidden current of life that lives in their honouring and liberation.

We’ll journey in an intimate group field via zoom and you’ll meet these parts of yourself in your own space, through an authentic exploration of naturally arising primordial archetypes. Essentially we come into contact with and are led by the erotic current of life.

Our explorations will be through movement, sound, and emergent archetypal forms as we follow the thread of the felt sense.

You’ll also be introduced to the practice of Sacred Theatre; an ancient ritual art form.

We’ll take a transformational path into the unconscious realms, returning with gold for contemplation and integration through the week at a conscious.

You don’t need to be consciously aware of your own ‘wronged’; as you journey this short-course all that is ready to be illuminated will reveal itself.

As part of your integration through the week you’ll be invited to reflect, share and reveal what’s moving for you through the art form of your choice with poetry and the written word being encouraged and song, movement, and visual art being warmly welcomed.

A subtle ritual field will naturally emerge because of the sacredness of the spaces we’ll be touching together and we’ll hold this gently as we move through alchemical waves of lightness and heaviness, playfulness and more serious energies.

We’ll be united by the sometimes courageous, sometimes ecstatic, always mystical nature of our mission.

This is a beautiful shamanic form of shadow work that I’ve been personally practicing for many years now.

It has been instrumental in my development as a man/adult, and essential in my maturing and grounding my power as a force of love in the world.

Building my relationship with these parts of myself has also supported me to comfortably face, meet and honour these forms of life that live in others.

For this reason this work is well suited to strengthening the embodied practice of facilitators, practitioners, coaches, guides, ceremonialist, teachers and leaders. Whether you are established or emerging this short-course will meet you well. Students of life and beings of all kinds who have a desire to reclaim their wronged and strengthen their relationship with the deeper forces of life will find a place for themselves in this circle.

What are The Darketypes?

The darketypes live underneath modern-era archetypal distinctions. They are less defined and more alive. They are the natural and emergent forms taken by the primordial forces of creation. You already have an existing relationship of sorts with these forces because they are the deepest and oldest aspects of your personal lineage, as well as the very forces of creation that your being is made from.

This is ancient temple practice re-emerging in these times in even more integrated ways.

It helps to note that other teachers (and schools) may use the term darketypes, but what we do here is not that.

How are Classes delivered?

Our classes will take place via zoom and you’ll be able to turn your camera on and off to suit your personal needs and boundaries. When you register we’ll send you a Welcome email, and 7 days out we'll connect with all the details and links you need.

You’ll be able to adapt the journey to any size floor space or even a bed or chair if you need to/feel to.

Replays are made available within 24hrs.

This is where all participants in the course will be able to reflect, share and connect more deeply outside of sessions. You'll be able to access this forum style thread on your smartphone, tablet or desktop.
